During Sunday Service Discovery Land is a full hour from 10-11 with music, games, Bible discovery, and surprises for children grades K to 6.
Youth
Youth group will be held every Wednesday night from 6:30-8:00 pm for grades 6th-12th in the youth building.
We focus on the five areas of discipleship listed below -
1. How do we follow Jesus? (What is salvation and what do we do once we are saved.)
2. How do we spend time with God? (How do we develop a passion for God's word and for prayer.)
3. How do we live in community? (How do we build relationships? What does forgiveness look like?)
4. How do we serve our neighbor and our church? How do we identify our gifts and match them with our passions to be a thriving servant for Christ.)
5. How do we share our story? (Everyone needs to know their story and how that story fits into God's grand narrative. Once we know that, how can we share our joy with others and invite them into our lives.)
From 6:30-7:00 pm we will be playing a team building, athletic or icebreaker type game. From 7:00-7:30 we will have an interactive lesson usually using a biblical story to illustrate a theological teaching, the gospel and an application for today. From 7:30-8:00 we will have small group discussion, encouragement, accountability and prayer.
Young families
Our young parents and their children meet often for a variety of events and get togethers. We invite any parents that are looking for a welcoming Christian family environment to check out our group. Contact our church office for information about upcoming events.
Adults
At Calvary we like to get together on a regular basis and enjoy each other’s company. We have night outs, campfires with singing and hotdog roasting, and other ways to enjoy life.

The Women of Calvary meet Sunday mornings from 8:30-9:30 right here at church. Bible Study and good, clean fun!
Small Group is Wednesday night from 6:30-8:00 in the church lounge. We sometimes dive deeper into the Sunday’s sermons and we will often watch great Christian movies. We encourage one another and build relationships. If you are looking for community and a place to belong, check us out!
Tuesdays and Thursdays - we have Noon Prayer Gatherings on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Even if you can’t be present, set a reminder to pray for our church and our community.
Missions
Kaniv, Ukraine
Pastor Nicolai pastors our sister church located in Kanev, Ukraine. This church began over 30 years ago with a small group of older people.
Our sister church relationship which started in 1992 has helped bring much growth and is reaching families. Calvary’s involvement is to come alongside our sister church in order to help them with whatever they feel God is leading them to do. We have helped with children’s Bible camps, evangelism to schools, nursing homes, and government offices and businesses. We help with men’s and women’s Bible studies, teen camps in the woods for unbelievers, marriage seminars and spiritual gift seminars.
We have also helped with outreach and church planting to 7 village churches in the surrounding area.
