"What you do for God is not nearly as important as who you are to Him".
We have explored 2 aspects of our relationship to God, Belonging and Becoming. Today we are taking a different approach as we look at what specific challenges God has for us in this journey of becoming.

The Adult & Teen Challenge Choir was with us for our morning service. Afterwards we had a wonderful lunch where everyone had enough to eat. Hallelujah!

Facing Down Your Fears
This last fear is the most subtle of all. It is hard to define because it has to do with drifting or losing your edge.
Last week I talked about the fear of not finishing the race, a genuine fear for me personally. I do not want to be sidelined by a foolish choice. Yet a greater fear is losing my passion for Jesus and following His will for the rest of my life. How do we keep the coals white hot? How do we keep our minds engaged in God's mission so we don't all of a sudden realize we have drifted away?
